FOR AN EMERGENCY DIAL 911
Albany - Delaware Twp. Fire Department: Serving Our Community Since 1899
The Albany - Delaware Twp. Fire Department is a all volunteer/paid-per-run fire department providing comprehensive emergency services to a diverse geographical area encompassing residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural zones. With a history dating back to 1899, we are committed to delivering professional and timely assistance to the residents and visitors of our service area.
Operating from our station in Albany, Indiana, we respond to over 600 calls annually within an 80-square-mile first-due area.
Our Fire Department received a brand-new MSA 4 Gas Monitor, generously donated by our local partner, Ferrell Gas!
The MSA 4 Gas Monitor is essential for ensuring safety in hazardous environments. It detects four gases: oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and combustible gases, helping us to assess risk and protect both our team and the community we serve.
We’re thrilled to announce that this is the second monitor we've added to our response capabilities, allowing us to enhance our operational capabilities even further. It's the unwavering support from local businesses like Ferrell Gas that empowers us to provide the best service possible.
Thank you, Ferrell Gas, for supporting our firefighters with this crucial tool.
